MCH did a great job installing a new geothermal heat pump. It was an easy, straightforward and timely process. The installers were very professional. James Lasater, the manager who was my contact, is very knowledgeable. The geothermal heat pump is a huge improvement over my old traditional heat pump, with superior efficiency and comfort, and is also very quiet.

Been trying to reach this company for a while, finally got a call back and they stated they were busy with other jobs and we should find another company to help Did not suggest an appointment for a later date or anything 10/22/24 No worries, all we needed was a water heater installed. We took your admin advice and found another company, I can only assume a water heater replacement was too small of a job but we reached to your company because MCH installed the original water heater but it’s fine. We found another company less busy Thank you

MCH completed our townhome in Old Hickory, TN back in November of 2021. The structure is a two-story duplex with a nearly identical adjoining space on the other side. At the time of it's construction, my girlfriend (now wife) was the property owner and had recently moved in with me in Hermitage so we decided to rent this property out instead of living there. Over the course of the last 3 years, we have taken great pride and care in maintaining this home as an investment property. This past July while turning the property over from a previous tenant, we noticed that there was mold in the ductwork coming up through the vents on the first floor. We immediately hired a mold remediation expert, sent off several samples for testing, and consulted with HVAC technicians to figure out what would be causing this. The consensus that we received from everyone involved was that our HVAC unit was inappropriately sized for an 1100 sq ft home causing the house to cool off adequately, but not run often enough to dehumidify the air inside the house. When I reached out to MCH to see what they were willing to do to address the issue, I was met with immediate resistance. I left multiple phone messages and wrote several emails requesting the documentation used to calculate the load of the AC system but was always evaded regarding this topic. After my 6th attempt to obtain this information without any success, I reached out to the president of the company via email (Scott Sherrod). I explained the situation in great detail, outlining my frustrations with the lack of communication and transparency from his staff. Scott never replied but three days later, an employee named Jason Carpenter reached out over email to explain to us that they offer a "1 year labor warranty to cover any workmanship issues for HVAC" and that there was nothing they could do to help us unless we wanted to pay full price for a whole house dehumidifier installation to the tune of $3000. There is much more that I could say regarding our experience with MCH, but to put it plainly, I found their response to our issue to be extremely disappointing, lacking in any sense of responsibility to their customer, and overall apathetic. A brand new house where the builder is responsible for the safety and comfort of their client should do better than to have an interior relative humidity level of over 80% in the summertime. Period. It is also worth noting that we NEVER asked for a solution to be free of charge. We were told by our neighbors that MCH installed a whole house dehumidifier to their HVAC system for around $500 because they had the exact same issues with mold as we did. That is all we were hoping for, which in my opinion, is very reasonable. We are now having to deal with an attorney and BBB to try to rectify an issue that should have never been a problem in the first place. Please be careful if you are considering the thought of hiring MCH as a builder for your next project. If communication, quality craftsmanship, and customer service is important to you, I highly suggest looking elsewhere.

Had our sewer and underground utilities run by MCH. Landscapers, doing what landscapers do, broke the new sewer line digging a french drain and replaced it with corrugated drainage pipe leading to a sewer clog - they should have just alerted us on the problem. MCH came out and fixed it fast. Almost 6 months later we found another section that was probably damaged by the landscapers and MCH once again came out and got on it. They camera'd the lines and it all looks good now - no secret "fixes" by landscapers. Was a super easy process for me. Kyle and G kept me updated and got service restored quickly with pretty minimal disruption to the yard despite the digging they had to do. I believe they dealt with costs/money with the landscapers through my GC and the second time they chalked it up to warranty. I didn't have to deal with any extra thanks to them. I often don't expect much from warranties these days but MCH clearly does warranty their work and that's great to know. Hopefully the new sewer lines are good for 60 more years. Would definitely hire them again.

Update (Dec 2024): MCH came back out to replaced a separate HVAC system for my house and I had another positive experience. This time they installed two hyper-efficient mini split heat pumps with solar panels. Since they partner with TVA, I got a $1500 rebate from TVA plus I'll file for the 30% federal tax credit ($2700 ) on my 2024 taxes. Crew was professional, respectful, and had a high quality of craftsmanship (including installing the solar panels on the roof). Highly recommend! Original review (April 2020): Jason and his crew installed a new super-efficient Mitsubishi heat pump in my 1925 home in East Nashville and they did fantastic work. Their pricing was right in line with another quote I received and they were very respectful, clean, and communicative during installation. They were also diligent about wearing masks in the middle of COVID which was greatly appreciated because we have a newborn and mother-in-law living with us. We’re thrilled with the new unit and highly recommend MCH!

MCH helped install an all new HVAC system and duct work in our home and needless to say it's been a fabulous 6 months! They were nothing but accommodating and considerate of us with our newborn in the house and got the job done super well and quickly!

I bought a new Mitsubishi HVAC system through MCH recently. Their installation team did an excellent job installing the indoor, outdoor and thermostat systems. A service tech came out to my home a couple of weeks later and did some system setup adjustments to my specific liking. I am extremely pleased with my purchase and MCH's professionalism and highly recommend them.
